I have seen so much mis info regarding correct part numbers - etc. So I am hoping someone else's experience can help me with my issue.
Thanks in advance.

May also want to get their silicone hoses... these are for the 2009.5 breakpont, not sure which ones you may need.

I did get the Mishimoto radiator although haven't put it in yet since I'm STILL waiting on the machine shop to finish the motor! I can say it is quite an impressive looking piece! I ordered from g8only, same price as listed above but they didn't charge me tax or shipping.

So to be clear - these have the lower trans line ports?

Not sure, I didn't install it. I run a separate trans cooler, so that isn't a sticking point for me.

Yes they do

I did see one post where the lines needed to be slightly bent however I have a M6 trans and they have some rubber in the lines, not sure about the slushbox lines.

Gotcha.

Well, I guess I have to bite the aluminum bullet. Whats considered a fair install fee? Or hour count.

Not sure on that, guess that would depend on the shop, some can be pretty pricey especially if it's not a stock unit. Do you have a cold air intake or any other non-stock items? May want to check around and find a shop that does more custom work (heads/cam/tuning) and give them a call.

Well, I just watched a youtube vid. 1.5 hrs total. Im so picky about who does work. My entire life, mechanics have messed things up during R&R and Im left with other issues because they didnt put it back right. Some of the BEST on the other hand were personal friends or neighbors. And they were NOT pro mechanics. Just smart people by nature. Smarter than me when its about car repair.

To save money could you use a stock base radiator with a 6.0l since i already got one?, no information on if the radiators are different between the gt and base, i would want to keep the base rad for the breakin period of my ls and upgrade after those 500 miles

so with the rad being different, there shouldnt be clearance issues but would there be issues with rad lines not fitting, cant think of any reason i could use the base rad for 500 miles

I know the base model radiator doesn't have a pressure cap. Given that, I assume there's other differences like inlet and outlet locations.
what ever you do, stay away from cold case radiators. The complete definition of POS.

I was wondering about that, thanks for confirming. I definitely won't be getting that brand.

Thanks VEGAS_SS , I bought from G8ONLY, Maverick man charged like 50$ tax. You still in Vegas? I was born and raised there. But Its not the place I once loved. 😕 Been gone for 35 yrs.

Yes in vegas, moved here in 85... not the same for sure but live in the NW far away from the strip.

I have bought almost $3,000 worth of stuff from G8 only and saved quite a bit in overall cost, free shipping (over $500) and no tax. I also redeemed their points for discounts on other parts (motor mounts and ATI balancer) so pretty happy with them. Pretty much everything I've bought in the past 9 months has been without tax, not sure why but not complaining. These were purchases from Monster, Cam Motion and G8 Only.

You will be impressed with the Mishimoto as soon as you take it out of the box!

When I changed mine about 5 years ago I got one from Rock auto, an original AC Delco part.
