I have the solo axle back on my GT right now. My xpipe is on its way. I had originally planned on adding the xpipe and deleting the resonators. Im just looking for peoples opinions on the sound of keeping the resonators vs deleting them..
Or you can modify the tune's DFCO settings to kill off the burbles, burps, farts, and crackles ... done that and loving it. The rasp gets even more with headers and a full flow design.
Ive got Kooks 1 7/8" LTs, HFCs, Kooks X pipe matted to the Solo axle back with 3.5" tips. Its raspy at times but still sounds good. I can load some of my videos when I get home if you like.
I still have my resonators in place and enjoy the sound. It's plenty loud with my set up. I say keep them intact, see how you like the sound, and go from there.
Well i decided to add the x pipe and delete the resonators and it sounds pretty flippin good. No drone at all. Cruising in town or on the highway just sounds like i just have my solo axle back. Definately has that muscle sound to it. Very impressed
