Wires: ACDelco 748RR (not to be confused with the inferior 9748RR)
The difference between 748RR and what comes on the G8 is that 748RR are red and have a 90° bend. This is why Amazon states 748RR will not fit the G8 even though many have used them without any fitment issues.
Just a reminder, ACDelco is giving a $3 per spark plug rebate (minimum of 4, maximum of 16) until the end of this year; it started on 01/01/2018. The spark plugs can be found rather cheaply on eBay...
The only thing I hate about AC Delco wires is that they seem to have a penchant for breaking when unplugged. I once had 5 of 8 plugs break on me just to unplug for a compression test.
The replacements got me to work the next day. A month later it was time for more diagnostics to attempt to find the nagging problem (I failed to find it again). The <expletive deleted> things broke again at a 50% rate.
I replaced them with Granatelli Wires (the ones I got were Blue) and have not had one break since. I didn't necessarily buy them for their marketing. I bought them because reviews spoke of quality.
I've had to unplug them several times since and guess what...........
Figured I'll start posting some details and pics so I can document my daily driver G8 build.

Was hoping to get a better insight as to my best options performance wise for my G8 . Bought it about a month ago and I really do want to make it up to par with everything out now, especially the infamous 5.0 Mustangs . I've seen people go supercharger, procharged, turbo charged . Need a better...
On my first oil change decided to try larger PF52, Was a little concerned with clearance, about 2 inches below pan.
Has there been anyone who has actually had one banged up or torn off???
I know it only takes one to justify but sure feel better with more filter area
My M6 GXP is starting to make the dreaded "ticking" lifter noise at about 77k miles but I am thinking before I head to the shop I should run some seafoam (and maybe lucas oil treatment) through the system.
My plan of attack is as follows
1 Gas tank is almost empty so fill up with at least 93...
Now that I've got my stall in and its driving great I'm considering a bigger cam. How big can a guy go with a 3000 stall and have a car still be useable as a roadtrip car/dd capable car? I'd like to get it into the high/mid elevens eventually. I was suggested a 226/236 113+4 .625/.625 lift to...
