yeah its 1/4 mile (400m) only a few cars showed up so he pretty much had the track to himself in the end to try and get the launches perfect. These have the L77 6.0L motor, very similar to the L76 in the G8 GT but is suitable for E85 (which this has been tuned for) With the 6-speed manual like the GXP, getting the extra weight off the line is a careful balance of wheelspin, and trying not to damage clutch, diff etc.

Funnily enough, now it's cammed with about 320rwkw (was around 270 in this clip), but even with semi slicks the times didn't improve. First gear is a waste, but the clutch wasn't up to the job of 2nd gear launches. Now a ceramic heavy duty has been fitted, and some new engine pulleys, lightened flywheel, upgraded roller rockers, rear sub frame bushes (everything in the name of reliability of course) hopefully he can dip into the 12s.

The MPH on the mid-low 13 sec runs indicate it should be easily achievable
