Before I go making a mistake. Just want to confirm that I can knock out the steam port block offs on the back of the heads, and either plumb all 4 vents together, or use something like this on the back 2 ports: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/icb-551693

Thanks

Yeah, I'm aware of why they're there, and that the LS3/L92 heads are they only ones that have the little rivets blocking the rear ports. Which is a little silly to me given there are the little block off plates there from the factory. The post was more of a... I hope I'm not missing the 1% of the puzzle. ;)

I went ahead and told my machine shop to knock the plugs out. At least then I can decide what to do with it. I'll eventually run this, or something like it: https://www.motionraceworks.com/collections/ls-cooling-system/products/lsa-ls9-supercharger-steam-kit

FWIW, I'll be installing this kit https://nitrousoutlet.com/i-30560864-lsx-water-vapor-bleed-crossover-kit-for-retro-fit-lsa-blower-aplications.html when the new heads go on. I'm already LSA'd. And yes, the original steam line will work with a little persuasion.

Kit can be found cheaper if you are google savvy.

Have a look here for another option:
