Ok plan to add BC coil overs very soon and was wondering if I should go with the super pro +1 degree caster plates or just use the stock ones keeping stock caster. This is my daily driver with occasional track time?
The superpro camber plates look to be the same as the stock GM pieces.
I ended up using one to even my caster out - I needed a bit more on one side since stock mine was off a bit on one side, adding the plate put them on the same number.
If yours are already even I would use two.. The more caster the better.
Caster adds a little more resistance and feel to the power steering systems. Also adds a bit of dynamic camber... a good thing. I have the GM ones, but the aftermarket holes maybe be drilled as to add even more than the stock gm ones do.
To take full advantage of more caster, you need a set of the poly radius rod bushings to control caster better. These bushings will improve steering accuracy and braking feel.
