I been doing some reading on Doug Thorley Tri-Y headers. I like that the Tri-Y dedicates power to low and mid range, being these cars are heavy I would think this would give a more noticeable power increase for a NA set up and make the car funner to drive as compared to long tubes where they work more in the upper part of the RPM range.

So my question is how do you like the Tri-Y compared to long tubes? Anyone run both, did you notice any differences? Actual number on dyno, is there much of a difference (I know numbers mean nothing, just for a comparison)

Car is all stock except for an improved racing intake. Plan to do a small stock converter friendly cam and heads next year.

I'd also take a look at Kooks mids if I were you. When I had my G8 GT I had the mids with a Solo catback and it was the perfect setup for me.
