okay, so i installed 10" infinity powered sub in trunk. I removed the harness from the factory amp and plugged in the sub to the factory sub wires in the harness. of course i didn't re-attach the harness back to the stock amp.

i also replaced all 4 doors and front speakers. (sounds really good!)

now, my phone says it is connected to bluestar, but it doesn't work. do i have to plug the harness back into the factory amp to make it work? if so i will have to splice into the rear sub wires.

please help?

Update for those who may replace the sub and have a bluestar unit.

I emailed Chris @ bluestar and he replied I needed to unplug bluestar and plug in onstar to reset the radio. Once I did this and then replugged the bluestar unit, it works perfectly. Interestingly, this only happens on G8's.
