Anyone ever ran a NNBS intake for maximum torque gains?

Of all the Richard Holdener Dyno pulls I’ve seen on YouTube. The HP and torque difference between truck and car intakes are minimal. Now I have never seen anyone do the “rod mod” to a truck intake. Only the LS3 intake. Your cam choice has more to do with torque output than the intake. What cam are you going to run?

I suspect a torque loss compared to the LSA you normally have on there, haha

If I remember correctly, the issue isn't if the LS3 style intake we have is bad. It's probably one of the better stock ones available. It was how well the truck version did.

But given we already have one of the better ones, I don't see any benefit of swapping over to a truck version
