The dashmat is removable, I'll take it off for the winter. The only thing I've seen on the G8 that I like a little better is the twin scoops on top of the hood...maybe the aftermarket guys here will offer something similar.That dash cover is genious. Is it removeable? The more I see the Holden version the more I like it. I may have to convert the G8 to an SS-V when I get it. Nice pics guys.

Maybe not. Hot sun in Australia cracks dashboards (especially Japanese & European ones) in just a few years, so the first big mod most 18 year olds do to their 10 year old rust bucket is buy a dashboard carpet to cover the cracks.

I've never liked them because it makes it look like you are trying to cover something up, but in central Australia, I could see some value.
