Im in the Market for a set of new rims! Ive decided i either want the VMR 710 or VB3!

What exactly is the the difference between the two?

Help me pick between Hyper Silver or Gunmetal? Itll be a stock looking SBM GT G8!

Vmr v710-

19-8.5 et35
19-9.5 et 45

Vmr VB3

19-8.5 et 40
19-10 et 38

Which set would fit without rubbing even with H&R springs.

Gunmetal

VNR wheels on SBM

Since you didnt mention tire sizes,I will go on assumptions. For the front you should be good with either one with 245s or maybe 255s.
Rear I assume 275-285?? The VB3 at 38 is getting out there. Thinkin...not
The 710 at 45 is Iffy with out rolling fenders, especially if you drop it. Take a look at speed racers sticky above "offset reference ranges"will it fit"
He has done us all a great service here. Happy reading

Of those two choices, VB3. With H&Rs I wouldn't run too low of an offset.

Gunmetal or silver would look great on the car. I chose gunmetal V718s for my last car, but might do silver on my current one.

My car has the VMR's with the following offset and tires. Previous owner rolled the fenders. I think I am Lowered around 1.15".

19-8.5 et 35 w/ 255/40/19
19-9.5 et 50 w/ 285/35/19

The front will sometimes rub when turning all the way to the right, but just barely. No rubbing in the rear.

You can also get the VB3 in a 19x9.5" +45 and the 19x9.5" 710s also come in a +50. I'd stay away from the 19x10 with that offset.

Either wheel you cant go wrong with! Each has a nice style to it! It would just depend on whats in stock at the time! The most common fitment is going to be the 19x8.5 et.35 and 19x9.5 et.45, you can run the 19x9.5 et.50 if its available in the V710. When it comes to the VB3 it would be the 19x8.5 et.40 and 19x9.5 et.45.

The VB3 is in stock in the Super Silver and the Gunmetal. In the V710 they are ALL sold out in the proper fitment in Hyper Silver or Gunmetal. Let me know what you end up leaning towards and I will be happy to help you out!

Fitment is roughly the exact same, only difference is the overall style and spoke pattern. The VB3 has a more rounded set of spokes where the V710 has much more squarred off spokes.

Second ones = V710.

They don't come in 19x10 for offsets that work for us.

You'll want 19x8.5 +35 Front and 19x9.5+50 Rear if you're going to lower a lot. You can also do a 19x9.5 +45 Rear, if you stick with a 275 rear tire. If you want to do a 285 rear tire, then get the +50.

That picture is Hyper Silver.

As for fitment, 275 with 9.5 +45 shouldn't cause any issues on H&R. To be ultra safe you can go with +50.

Really? I know the first picture is Hyper Silver, but the second ones look Gunmetal? Ill stick with the 275 on the 9.5 +45

99% sure they are hyper silver. You can see all the colors on velocity motoring.com

I ran that setup for a month or 2. Only rubbing was on the bumper bracket in the rear with a 275 tire.
