Noticed something hanging down beneath my GT. Jacked it up, crawled underneath, and I can’t figure out what this is or where it’s supposed to be connected, looks like a clip of some sort broke....?

Can’t see it from topside on the motor, and feeling along the length of the tube, my arms aren’t long enough to reach where it goes.

I've seen that tubing before from other members. They were told that it was their transmission vent tube. It normally is routed up to an attached to a clip or bracket at the rear of the drivers side cylinder head. I would think that with it hanging down, there's a chance that some transmission fluid could spill out from time to time (confusing you as to what the heck is leaking here).

It’s about a 3/8” rubber hose. The end of it has a white plastic element like some sort of breather. There is also a nub where some sort of clip used to be.

It’s dangling down between the oil pan and left cat, right by the O2 sensor.
