Ask BTR.
For a daily, would single or triple disc be better? I went to order the 258mm 2800-3000 and it said single is “not available for 6L80”.Neither. The Circle-D 278mm and performance are mutually exclusive, and you will not be happy with the ZL1 converter. Your car will be an absolute slug out of the hole. I know several people that went with the Circle-D 278 converter and either PM'd me or asked me at the track what converter I was running because my 60' times were killing their's. All of them had the 278mm. Most if not all of them ended up selling their converters and buying Circle-D's 258mm billet converter like I was running. The ZL1 is fine for boost but not N/A. Definately spend the money and get a good converter.
Yeah. I asked Circle D, BTR, and the performance shop I use. I’m getting a 3000-3200 258mm Circle D Pro Series triple disc.Have you had any luck calling companies like Circle-D, Coan, or others? They are the pros and can best recommend a product for what you want to do with the car and play nicely with other mods.
I have a cooler and a deep Camaro pan already. I might get a bigger cooler though.Great! Glad you got some good advice and your build can progress! Any thoughts on plumbing in an additional trans cooler?
Single or multi-disc depends on your power level. At your power level, a single disk is fine but it appears Circle-D is changing up its converter lineup. A triple disc would be overkill in your setup but it won't hurt driveability. For a daily, would single or triple disc be better? Yeah I had trouble finding a single so I just went with a triple. I’m glad it won’t hurt drivability. I just ordered it yesterday.Single or multi-disc depends on your power level.
