So I just bought my G8, and am already wanting to mod a little. Not a lot, but its hard to go from an LS1 with straight pipes, to the quietness of the stock G8. especially since the power is there, and the performance is awesome...being so quiet bothers me.

I'm looking at the Solo Mach system.

A) its a cat-back system, so will it bolt up to the factory manifolds?

B) how hard would it be to add headers at a later date?

It would be quite awhile for me to cash enough cash to do a whole system, plus install all at once, and it im happy with the manifolds and catback, id prob leave it that way. Im not looking for a Dyno queen or drag monster, just want better sound, and a little power.

Ive looked at just doing axle back, but for the price, might as well do an catback

That is the system I have, when I first installed it loved it, now it still sounds nice but feel it is still to quiet. Looking at headers and HFC's in the near future. Don't get me wrong it is a great sound improvement over stock, and it is nice to hear some rumble.

It is nice system easy install everything fits nicely together.
