I don't think its going to happen soon for US market as it will be direct competition for the V. Cadillac is GM's premiere brand, they would never sell a bowtie sedan that out performs caddy.....IMO

That front end looks like garbage. Chevy's styling is going downhill quick. Pretty bad I can't buy a car from the dealer I work for since they are all so ugly (can't afford new Camaro or Vette)

The back is worse than the front, boring and plain.
A little more performance and a lot more sporty/aggressive styling is needed, at least for me to swap.
A "1LE" kind of option would be nice, more sportiness but not $60k.
Although, in orange with black wheels and quad exhaust, this looks much better than the silver SS-

I think the closest we'll ever see to an LSA would be a 427 SS.. they won't take that LSA and stuff it in a cheap version of a caddy. Just like they wouldn't stuff an LS9 into a V. Can't have a four door stock output touch GMs most prized possession.
Maybe.. just maybe.. we could see the same power plant used in the Z28? Want the creme de la creme? Get a V or a ZL1.
Can't afford the creme? Get a Z28 or an SS.
