I've got the intake tube off to change the A/C belt on my GXP (~110Kmi), so it was a convenient opportunity to look at the throttle plate. It looks fine and clean from the outside but the inside is covered with a thin layer of oil. So I shined the light inside the manifold through the throttle opening, and the whole inside of the intake manifold glistens with a sheen of oil. Well, that probably explains where the oil goes, since the level was dropping from "full" to "low" between the oil changes. And the oil where I can reach is pretty clean - since I've changed the oil recently, this probably means that it "circulates" pretty actively. But how can I stop it from circulation? Does it mean that some kind of a baffle in the PCV system is broken? Or is it just "natural" as the engine is getting worn? I haven't seen this kind of oil spray with the 4th-gen Camaro at a similar mileage.
