Overheats after ProCharger install and tune?

I recently had a Procharger installed and retuned. A couple of days later I had the car in a line at the car wash and after idling for quite some time noticed that the temp gauge was at full hot and the warning message for hot engine was on. Shut it down, cooled of quickly and when driving home normal temps. Started up in garage yesterday and let idle, took 18 minutes but went to full hot on the gauge and warning message again. Thermostat, fan settings in tune?

I had a shop install the ProChrger so Ill have to have them look at the burping. It is going back for bigger injectors and they know about the overheating and will look at it then. Wanted an idea of what to make sure they checked. Thank you

I just had same problem after Maggie 1900 install, didn't have time to get it checked out though. Let me know if they find anything out of the ordinary.

My initial guess would be that air is caught in the coolant system due to an improper burping process. Either that or the fans aren't kicking on soon enough or hard enough to bring the engine temps down.

Air bubble in the system

sounds like a bubble...did Mac do the install? still want them to install one for me.....someday

Yes MAC did the install and said they will take care of the overheating. Just trying to get a jump on it before I take it back in. Have to wait for 90 PSI injectors and 3.90 rear end gears to come in before I bring it back in.

it can also be the fan settings

also the more power you make the more heat that will be generated , and with the procharger intercooler , and maggie heat exchanger sitting infront of the radiator , the air over all surfaces will slow up . and more heat not being able to be transfered into the air

Lots of "might be this or that". Glad that I can let MAC Autosports figure it out.
