It happened to mine pretty much right away when I bought it in September. My dealer took care of it right away. I'm not sure if they replaced or repaired it, but it's never done it since.

 

Yes I have had the same issue about 3 or 4 times. The first time was a little over a month ago. I was going to take it in when I had a chance.

 

My service folks were aware of the problem (via service bulletin?), so you shouldn't have much trouble getting it taken care of.

 

I had this happen once, but never happened again. I chalked it up to an electronic glitch.

Nothing to do with the radio screen, but when cruising down the freeway I have an intermitent flash on my DIC. I'm never looking directly at it when it happens, I usually see it out of the corner of my eye. Also, I was backing up yesterday and heard this on & off buzzing sound. I realized it was the seat beat warning chime but it wasn't chiming, just buzzing in time with the light on the dash. It stopped buzzing and started chiming when I put it in drive. I'm hoping the Gremlins haven't moved in.

This has happened to me, but on the Atari gauges. I finally figured out that they were not flashing, but it's a glare or reflection of things like trees and telephone poles. Drove me nuts for a while!

there was a seat belt chime bulletin that should have been performed while your vehicle was sitting on the lot. . . dunno if thats what you're complaining of.

 

GM has a fix for it that your dealer should have done before you finished signing the paperwork.

 

I had this happen again on Friday. (only the third instance in nearly a year)

Is the radio/HVAC screen issue what you are addressing in the above quoted?

I just had this issue last night, drove 1,500 or so miles over a couple days and when I got to Florida, turned off the car, back on again and had the flashing lights on the radio, HVAC system, center console. Awhile later now it is ok?

Glad to hear there is a fix for it, can anyone provide what the fix is? Just curious.

On a different note I floored it (WOT) for the first time at about 40mph to make a light (and irritated at my flashing radio). WOW! is all I can save. Amazing sound of the engine, exhaust and FAST. It actually took me by surprise, I'll have to do it a few more times to get used to it
