Their shouldn't be any at all. Back at 20,000 miles, mine started ticking on cold starts for about two seconds, and it wouldn't do it every time. Finally after a couple months, they started to tick constantly and that's when I went to the dealership. The brief ticking on fire-ups is an indication that you have a lifter failure underway. Video your start ups so that when it happens you can show the dealer, and they can't say "well, we can't replicate it."

Be polite but firm, or try another dealer. This is a known problem.
You'll know for sure if you let it go too far.
