Can anyone help me find out what the invoice price is of this particular G8 GT (VIN #6G2EC57Y79L306413) and MSRP of $34,090 (has factory bluetooth no roof).

BTW, I was quoted $31,981 before incentives, I asked if they would take $31k but haven't heard back yet (but I am guessing no).

What do you guys think a good price would be for 2009.5 GT with no roof. I already offered $31k but guessing they wont accept. What should I be shooting for here? Last day to get 0% financing so time is of the essence. I was quoted $31,981.

I got $8,500 of my loaded '09. It was not an '09.5. I had one dealership offer $5,000 off 09.5 model. $35,190 car down to $30,190.

Thanks - yeah it works out to $2600 off of MSRP. So doesn't seem all that great in comparison (but I am going for 0% financing not $3000 cash back) so are you including the $3000 or no?

Hmmm, Edmunds shows the Invoice of this car at $32,903 - is this right? So the dealer is telling the truth - he said he was already about $1000 under invoice. From the dealers perspective - is there room to even go any lower than $1000 under invoice? Seems like a lot - how is everyone getting these crazy deals AND 0% financing?

Prior to attaining a GMS code we had a couple dealers down to $29500 w/0%( or we could have taken the 3k) for GT's with Sport and Premium packages. I know one of the cars qualified for the inventory reduction 1k but one didnt. Neither of these had bluetooth and both stickered for 34,090.

The invoice figures given by any of the online calculators (Edmunds, KBB, etc.) are never correct, because they don't account for the ad fee percentage that varies by region & dealer. The only way to get the true invoice number is from the dealer invoice.

If a dealer is quoting $xx over or under invoice, they pretty much always will just show that sheet to you to prove it. Otherwise, you'll never know the number unless--as originally asked--you could get someone with access to the dealer system to electronically pull up the invoices.

Good luck!

I was quoted $26,700 for one when I was looking for a new 09. They told me they had me @ $1k below invoice and that included $5K worth of incentives. So I guess they were telling me invoice was about $32,700? and they were welling it to me @ $31,700 before the $5K of incentives...so your guy sounds inline with who I was dealing with.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Anyone out there who could look up the invoice price in a dealer system?? Pretty please...

I think the fact that it is 2009.5 with bluetooth is limiting how low he can go. There is a black one without bluetooth that is older stock that he quoted $30,000. But i figure bluetooth would be something I would use a lot. Am I crazy for holding out for bluetooth?

Not at all. It will be your car, get what you want. Though if you want a better price for a bluetooth car you will have to wait - maybe to the end of the model year (Augustish). Seeing as GM is in dire condition right now, I'd say there will be more good deals coming in the months ahead.

I just purchase a 09 GT Pacific Slate no Blue Tooth. Premium Package, Sport Package and Sunroof. MSRP $34,110. Paid $25,000 with rebate and current lease bonus cash. I think it was as good as deal I could have made. Hopefully they will continue similar incentive next month.

LarryG8Gt,

Congratulations! That looks like a great deal. Did your deal include the March incentive of $1000? Is your car a 2009.0, 2009.1 or 2009.5? What did your VIN sequence number start with (three question marks 6G2EC57Y69L???049)? I'm in the market for the same car although different color. I'm trying to determine how good my deal is, $274000 (includes $5000 in incentives), sequence number starting with 230. Thanks.

Thanks for all the help guys! Pulled the trigger last night and bought my G8!! Picking up tonight after work (this is going to be the longest day of work EVER). I just could not chance the 0% financing going away. It's a Maverick Silver/Onyx 2009.5 with factory bluetooth/Sport/Premium no roof.

Gives me one last day with the old '99 trans am. She has served me well...

Brizz,
The three digit number is 163. The dealer marked the price to $29,000 then a total of $4000 for rebates, for a bottom line price of $25,000. They referred to the rebates with the following code letters: PBB, CSR and LEK. I am not certain which of the rebates ended in March. I was told that $1000 of the rebate was for me being a current leasee even though it was not a GM product.

Good Luck with your purchase.

need help on "targeted lease bonus cash". was at the dealer last week. was told I have to be "targeted" to receive it. even though I have a non-GM lease expiring in May.

can you let me know if you were "targeted" ? I googled everywhere but can't find any info on it. thanks.
