Rear Spoiler adhesive removal

Trying to get rid of all the remaining 3M adhesive tape that was used to hold the rear spoiler bracket onto the trunk lid.

Can’t seem to get it off nicely, I’ve tried Goo Gone’s automotive solvent, cloth wrapped putty knives, and isopropyl alcohol. No luck yet.

Anyone have experience in removing this or something similar? I think the next step is to try using some heat.

Thanks team

I appreciate the input, Team. It’s been a long time coming trying to remove this stuff, a drill attachment or gel could work, especially since some of the goo is on a vertical surface.

If the paint isn’t perfect when I’m finished it’s not too big a deal, since I plan to put another spoiler on eventually.
