Lots of PMs on whether or not this throttle body will work for you. If you have a GT, 90% chance you have this setup (LS2), if not, you have an LS3 throttlebody.
Easy check: Look at the waterpump below the throttlebody. If the radiator hose is on the left relative to the throttle body, this is the correct throttle body. If the hose is to the right, then you will want and LS3 throttle body.
From what I have read during my research....if you have a 2008/2009 GT you have the LS2 TB (silver blade), if you have a 2009.5 GT, you will have the LS3 TB (gold blade).
Literally bolt on and go. Tune will help with overall engine performance and optimize the setup, but the MAF will account for the increase in airflow. If you have previously been Speed Density tuned (no MAF) then you will need to brush up the tune.
If the blade screws go in from the front on your TB then you have the LS3 TB(also 6 point tamper proof bolts hold the motor assembly on the LS3 were the LS2 have 5 point).
Great modification! I think they have one of the best ported tb's 17whp on a vette I believe with a tune. And that's not including the tune, better numbers than any cai I've seen in real world results.
