The actual strut mount bushing is on the inside and you can't see it. You're probably talking about the round cover you can see under the hood? I've seen some better looking after market, but I don't know where you can get a set. Somebody here will know.

 

Yes, buy urethane from BMR. There are a few others as well.

 

Many options.. many compounds. Research the forums and see which ones fit your style.

 

FYI - I watched my factory rubber bushings collapse back in 09. So at ~8K miles I put poly bushings in. So I wouldn't trust any rubber bushings (softer ride or not). Didn't notice any increase in NVH (some do, some don't).

 

Whiteline Poly kit with bearings, can't go wrong there.

If its the big round plate with a rubber edge, its just floating in air, held down by the nut. Why do you want to replace it?

 

I don't see the reason to replace this part unless it's damaged. One could paint it or perhaps have it powder coated if they simply don't like the look.

 

nope i just figured there was a poly alternative to the stock rubber piece.

Both are found on ebay. Covers the original. And the piece is just a retainer, No Poly needed
