In July of 2009, I got one of the last G8 GT's that was available in the State of Washington, and it happened to come with the Goodyear RSA all season tires. I have found these tires to have absolutely terrible traction on wet pavement. Of course, wet pavement is the norm here in Washington.
This morning the back end really broke lose on wet pavement and fish tailed as I was making a rather gentle turn into the parking lot where I work. I've even had the back end break lose on dry pavement with the tires wet from just having left the car wash.
I strongly suspect that the traction problem has more to do with the tires than the car. Has anyone replaced the RSA's and found they have better traction, especially on wet pavement?
I want to get rid of these tires, but I don't want to just throw money away on new tires if they are not really going to help with traction on wet pavement.
